Applications Of Biotechnology
The science of biotechnology is the current talk of the day in our modern world. This field is being explored by scientists, doctors, engineers and many other professionals from diverse backgrounds. When we talk of the applications of genetic engineering a.k.a. recombinant DNA technology a.k.a. biotechnology we find that this science is deeply associated with our daily life. We talk about GM products starting from GM crops, recombinant drugs like the recombinant insulin, factor viii and many more. These days we talk about molecular pharming where animals are genetically modified to act as bioreactors to produce certain important proteins in their body which can be extracted for some important use.
